Former president of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain passed away here on Wednesday after a prolonged illness, according to his family and party leaders. He was 80.

The decision came after Deputy Chief Minister and Labour Minister Manish Sisodia issued directions to the Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (DBCWB) in this regard.

The Delhi government on Monday said it will provide financial assistance up to Rs 50,000 and a rebate of 10 percent on water bills to encourage people to install rooftop rainwater harvesting systems.

A 35-year-old woman, who was lured on the pretext of providing a job, was allegedly raped by two men inside a car in northeast Delhi’s Shastri Park area. Police said that they have arrested the accused, who are residents of Surajpur in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida.
