At least 11 people were killed and 37 others seriously injured in a huge gas explosion in central China's Hubei Province on Sunday, official media reported.

The blast took place at about 6:30 am local time in the Zhangwan district of Shiyan city. Media reports said a market in the district was hard hit.

Eleven people were killed and 37 others injured in the explosion which has destroyed several buildings, state-run CGTN-TV reported.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wedneday reviewed a pilot project undertaken by the students of a government school in Khichripur using the seed money provided under the Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum.

A total of 41 students of School of Excellence are being mentored by 11 MBA students of Delhi Technological University (DTU). Seven projects have been planned and implemented by these students using the seed money of Rs 1,000 each.

The AAP government has sent a file on doorstep delivery of ration to Delhi Lt Governor Anil Baijal, making a fresh bid to get his approval for the scheme, official sources said on Thursday.

Earlier this month, the Arvind Kejriwal government had claimed that the scheme was rejected by L-G contending that the Centre's approval was not sought for it and there was a pending case in the court.

The Haryana government on Sunday extended the COVID-19 lockdown in the state by another week till June 28, but eased restrictions imposed on weddings and funerals, and allowed corporate offices to operate with full attendance.

According to an order issued by Chief Secretary Vijai Vardhan, up to 50 guests can now attend weddings and funerals or cremations, up from 21 earlier, subject to strict observance of COVID-19-appropriate behaviour and social distancing.

Baba Ramdev has moved the Supreme Court seeking stay on the proceedings in connection with multiple FIRs lodged against him by Indian Medical Association (IMA) in Bihar and Chhattisgarh over his remarks against use of allopathic medicine during COVID-19 pandemic.

The Indian Air Force is probing whether the two low-intensity explosions at its base in Jammu on Sunday were part of a terror attack, people familiar with the defence and security establishment said.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's office said he spoke to Vice Air Chief, Air Marshal HS Arora over the explosions.

A man wanted in the Red Fort flag hoisting case was arrested from Punjab and sent to a three-day custody of Delhi Police by a court here on Monday.

"Gurjot Singh was arrested from Amritsar in Punjab. A reward of Rs one lakh was declared for his arrest," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Sanjeev Kumar Yadav said.

Five COVID-19 patients have suffered cytomegalovirus-related rectal bleeding at a leading private facility here during the second wave of the pandemic, hospital authorities said on Tuesday and claimed it was being reported for the "first time" in immunocompetent persons.
